The Asian Canadian Talent Search

The 2013 Asian Canadian Talent Search (ACTS) is an annual singing competition that provides an opportunity for young Asian Canadians to have their voice heard above thousands. The competition was developed by the Canadian Multicultural Council – Asians in Ontario to allow young Asian Canadians to come together and celebrate their heritage and culture. The ACTS is designed to nurture young vocal performers in their early stages and provide a platform for them to display their talents. They are given the chance to represent their community and place a spotlight on the talent that exists in the heart of Toronto, a city that bursts with undiscovered talent and star power.

The competition is open to all Asian Canadians between the ages of 15 to 30 and the finalists will be chosen through a series of qualifying rounds beginning with Open Auditions in April 2013. Ten finalists will be chosen to participate in the Finals taking place on June 23, 2013.
